Last week I attended The Ideal Home Show at Earl’s Court for a little bit of home and interior inspiration. I particularly enjoyed this years room sets as they included some of my favourite shades of blue and grey, and some gorgeous textures like copper, wood and metal. The themes are very much after my own heart, Urban Retro, Rustic Glam, Utilitarian Chic and Country Luxe.
Take a look at my photos and be inspired!
Urban Retro Kitchen. I just love this! The soft grey, the strong black the pops of red, gorgeous. I also really like the retro twist and the kitchen utensil wall (created using rails and containers from ikea) so simple yet so very effective. Especially if you have an awesome brick wall like this (created using reclaimed brick effect wallpaper from Your 4 Walls £21.97 per roll).
Utilitarian chic bathroom Aaah once again so so me! I am loving copper at the moment, my living room has some fab touches of copper in it so I love to see how other people use it in their spaces too. This bath is just to die for and comes from Bohen at a cool £3103.20, I love the soft pink colour on the walls and the black and white details. Very, very cool.
Rustic Glam bedroom Such pretty soft shades of blue and grey, really lovely. If you remember a while ago I posted a piece about my dream bedroom, it was light, soft and feminine, a little like this one. I particularly like the shelf at the back of the bed displaying all the beautiful accessories. I’m thinking about how I can build one of these in my bedroom!
Country Luxe Dining room This is a pretty cool industrial dining room. Not sure it is the cosiest ever, I would probably go a bit chicer for a dining space but I love the far wall with the office / desk set up. That Aluminium pocket wall storage from Rose and Grey (£125) is amazing!!
Town House Living Room An interesting use of grey and orange, not really a colour combination I’d thought of (I love grey and yellow) but it works pretty well! I like the fab cube light from would you believe it BHS for £150.
